Definition:The series of molecular signals initiated by a ligand such as a bacterial lipoprotein or peptide binding to a cotranslationally formed heterodimeric TLR1:TLR2 complex, followed by transmission of the signal by the activated receptor, and ending with the regulation of a downstream cellular process, e.g. transcription.
